Meanwhile, the FMCG wing of the organization offers an array of diverse products, including but not limited to packaged and canned foodstuffs, fresh fruits and vegetables, frozen goods, pet food, and various home and personal care items. In addition to these, the group also possesses distribution centers and enterprises involved in the trade of electronics, electrical materials, appliances, utensils, construction materials, and related goods.
Operating across an extensive International expanse, the group’s activities in the commodities sphere span a wide range of goods, such as sugar, wheat (including wheat flour), rice, corn(including corn flour), milk powder, edible oil and coffee, among others.

Retail
The group boasts a robust presence in Angola’s retail landscape through its thriving hypermarket chains operating under the well-established Africana Discount brand. With two fully operational hypermarkets and plans for three more by the end of 2025, the concept has taken root and is growing at an impressive pace.
We are proud to have secured the prestigious tender for the privatisation of Angola’s largest supermarket and hypermarket chain, KERO. As a result, we have created employment opportunities for approximately 3000 individuals, contributing to the upliftment of the community’s economic situation.
As producers, we are committed to shortening the link between production and consumption, and we lead by example. With 12 stores averaging 6000 square metres of sales area, eight of which are located in the bustling province of Luanda and four in Benguela, Huela, and Wambo, we set the standard for others to follow.
The group’s ambitious plan is to expand its hypermarket and supermarket chains to other African markets where it operates in different areas, paving the way for growth and prosperity.

Manufacturing
Over the last decades, the group has undergone a transformation by expanding and diversifying into manufacturing, with impressive results. With a staggering investment of USD 500 billion, the group now boasts a range of factories in Angola, producing an array of leading Food & Beverage Products, Paper & Pulp Products, Hygiene Products, Home Care, and Personal Care Products.
While these factories have been around for some time, the group has taken a bold step by launching a modern washing powder factory in Angola, the first of its kind in the country, with an investment of USD 70 million. Commissioned in the second quarter of 2021, this state-of-the-art facility is set to revolutionize the market.
As part of its long-term strategic plan, the group has expanded its manufacturing capabilities beyond Angola by launching a Baby Diaper and Tissue manufacturing unit in Congo in 2022, marking the beginning of a new era. Building on this success, the group plans to replicate this model by establishing manufacturing units in other markets.
With investments in the range of hundreds of millions of dollars, the group is currently in the final planning stages for new factories in Angola, Zambia, Ivory Coast, Sierra Leon & Ethiopia. These facilities are set to spearhead innovation, growth, and development, laying the foundation for a brighter future.

Hospitality
